“Don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does.  It already knows.”

I have no intention of disparaging a worthy New Testament quote on charity whose core message I believe.  But the above link to a recent Atlantic article,  should be followed and the article read by anyone who thinks ONLY one side of our political spectrum does x, y, or z.    Both hands are at play and from the posts I have seen on FB, playing with equal vigor if not attention to “detail”.  This article gave me two takeaways:  (1) Social media demands truth seekers to dig earnestly to understand most any post and; (2) The importance of earnest digging may indeed be one of the most charitable acts we can do.
